Monica Sanchez serves as the Senior Litigation and Trial Paralegal at Kandell, Kandell & Petrie, where she works closely with firm partner Magali Sanders. Known for her precision, dedication, and deep knowledge of First Party Property law, Monica has played a key role in helping hundreds of homeowners and insured clients secure fair outcomes and recover substantial compensation. Since joining the firm, she has become a cornerstone of its litigation team, recognized for her command of complex case procedures and her unwavering commitment to client advocacy.

Monica’s career at the firm reflects both her drive and versatility. She began as a pre-suit paralegal, gaining comprehensive insight into every stage of First Party Property claims. This foundation allows her to navigate even the most intricate cases with confidence, clarity, and efficiency. Today, she manages more than 200 active cases with exceptional organization and attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality support throughout all phases of litigation and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Kandell, Kandell & Petrie in 2021, Monica built a strong legal foundation working in criminal and real estate law at respected Miami firms, where she discovered her passion for property law. Her diverse experience continues to inform her strategic and detail-oriented approach to litigation.

A proud Miami native and first-generation Cuban American, Monica credits her strong work ethic and commitment to education as key drivers of her success. She developed an interest in law early on and went on to earn her degree in Law Administration from Miami Dade College, graduating with honors. She is also a registered public notary and holds multiple business management certifications.
