Biography

As Head of Finance at Kandell, Kandell & Petrie, Stephanie oversees the firm’s financial operations, settlement disbursements, and accounting processes with precision and care. She is key to ensuring the firm, attorneys, and clients experience a smooth, seamless closing of cases and claims.

Stephanie joined KKP in November 2020 and has since worn many hats throughout her time with the firm. She began as a receptionist, moved into the pre-suit and AOB collections departments, and ultimately built her way up to leading the finance department. With a background in retail and customer service, including nearly a decade with Nordstrom and David’s Bridal, she brings a strong foundation in organization, communication, and client experience to every aspect of her work.

Under her leadership, the firm’s finance operations have become more efficient, structured, and seamless. She’s proud of having transformed the department’s internal systems to make settlement disbursements easier for attorneys and clients. Known for her problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and calm-under-pressure attitude, Stephanie ensures every number adds up, and every check finds its way home.

Known for staying calm under pressure and always being two steps ahead, Stephanie takes pride in catching the small details that make a big difference.

Born and raised in Miami with German and Cuban roots, a combination that perfectly matches her organized yet spirited personality, she loves cycling and discovering new restaurants, especially when it involves a good glass of wine. A frequent traveler, Stephanie loves visiting New Orleans, home to one of KKP’s offices, and spending time in Germany with her family.
