Biography

Adry Polo is a dedicated trial attorney who focuses her practice on representing homeowners in disputes against insurance companies arising from denied or underpaid claims. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami after immigrating at the age of five, Adry developed an early appreciation for advocacy and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in law.

She graduated with honors from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. During law school, Adry served as a Clinical Legal Intern with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Frank A. Adry has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2009 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, where she previously represented hundreds of families as a Special Education Attorney, advocating for the rights of children with disabilities and ensuring compliance with federal education laws.

Backed by over a decade of civil litigation experience, Adry has handled a wide range of personal injury and first-party insurance litigation matters from inception through trial. Prior to joining Kandell, Kandell & Petrie, P.A. in May 2023, she was a Partner at Gimenez & Carrillo, LLC for eight years, where she zealously advocated for homeowners in first-party cases.

Adry is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA), and the Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND). She is also a past President and active member of Business Network International (BNI) and the Miami Lakes Bar Association.

Adry prides herself on clear, effective communication and believes keeping clients informed and empowered throughout the legal process is essential to achieving successful outcomes.

Outside of the courtroom, Adry is a proud baseball mom, an avid reader and runner, and enjoys traveling the world with her family.
